Goethe-Zentrum Coimbatore

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 183 school children across different age groups, who expressed their imagination through colourful artworks. The competition fostered creativity, confidence, and artistic expression, making it a memorable celebration of Children’s Day.

The topics of the competition were thoughtfully chosen to introduce students to German culture while addressing global themes. Participants were grouped according to age:

1. Group 1 (Classes 1–3): My Dream House

2. Group 2 (Classes 4–6): Animals of Germany

3. Group 3 (Classes 7–9): Seasons in Germany

4. Group 4 (Classes 10–12): Traditional German Farm with Farmhouse

All participants received certificates of participation, while winners from each category were honoured with certificates, trophies, and exciting prizes during the Christmas Day Celebration held later in December. The competition encouraged artistic expression, cultural awareness, and creativity among school children, offering them a platform to showcase their talent, build confidence, and connect through the universal language of art.
